Privacy policy

The information we hold falls into three groups:

• Account details — your name, email address, mobile number and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text).
• Study activity — the programs you enrol in, lectures you watch, sheets you download, practice tests you attempt and the scores you get.
• Technical data — device type, browser, IP address, pages visited and approximate location derived from the IP address.

You can browse circulars, exam dates and results without creating an account.

We use your information to:

• create and secure your account and give you access to the programs you enrolled in;
• show your progress, test history and weak topics so you can study more efficiently;
• process payments and send receipts and enrolment confirmations;
• send service messages such as password resets, class updates and, where you have agreed, new circular alerts;
• keep the platform safe, prevent misuse and fix technical problems;
• understand which features are used so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used.

• Essential cookies keep you logged in and protect against forged requests. The site cannot work without them.
• Analytics cookies tell us, in aggregate, which pages and features are useful.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block essential cookies, signing in will not work.

Program fees are paid through third-party payment providers such as mobile financial services or card gateways. Your card or wallet details are entered on the provider’s own page and are not stored on Learnivus servers. We keep only the transaction reference, amount and status so we can confirm your enrolment.

We share personal information only where it is needed to run the service:

• Service providers — hosting, video delivery, payment processing, SMS and email delivery, and analytics, each limited to the task we hire them for.
• Instructors and coaching partners — your name and progress in a program, only for programs you enrol in.
• Authorities — when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and platform.

Aggregate statistics that cannot identify you may be published or shared.

We keep account and study data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, except for records we must keep for accounting, fraud prevention or legal reasons.

We use HTTPS across the site, hashed passwords, access controls and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and never share your login. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us straight away.

You are in control of your information. You can:

• view and update your profile details from your account page;
• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete your information;
• unsubscribe from alert and marketing messages at any time using the link in the message or your account settings.

Service messages, such as password resets and payment receipts, will still be sent while you have an account.

Many exam takers are young. If you are under 18, please use Learnivus with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. If we learn we hold information from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the platform grows or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If a change is significant, we will notify you on the site or by email.
